RBI gives final approval to three more Primary Dealers
The Reserve Bank of India has granted its final approval to three entities to operate as Primary Dealers in the Government securities market. These are:
1. | DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd. |
2. | Kotak Mahindra Capital Company (Unlimited) |
3. | Deutsche Securities (India) Pvt. Ltd., subsidiary of Deutsche Bank. |
The entities were granted 'in-principle' approval on October 29, 1998. With the grant of final approval to these three entities, the number of Primary Dealers in the Government securities market has gone up to thirteen.
