The Reserve Bank of India has announced the auction of 182 day Government of India treasury bills for a notified amount of Rs.100 crore on November 9, 1999. In view of November 9, 1999 having been declared as a Public Holiday instead of the November 8, 1999, by the Government of Maharashtra, the Reserve Bank has decided to conduct the auction of 182-Day Bills on November 8, 1999. Tenders should be submitted in the prescribed form on Monday, November 8, 1999 before 1430 hours. The results will be announced the same evening. Payment by successful bidders will be on Thursday, November 11, 1999.
