Information we collect through this website

Reserve Bank of India ('we' or the 'Bank') collects personal data about visitors to its websites www.rbi.org.in. When someone visits our websites, we will use a third party service, to collect standard internet log information (such as IP address and type of browser user’s use), user behavior patterns, measure how you use the website so it can be updated and improved based on your needs, remember preferences you’ve chosen such as language. Matomo can be configured to anonymize IP addresses, and it generally doesn’t collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly provided by the website owner, like in custom variables.
