Four more Primary Dealers in Government Securities Market Operationalised
The Reserve Bank of India has granted its final approval to four more entities to operate as primary dealers in the Government securities market. These are :
1 | J. P. Morgan Securities India Private Ltd. |
2. | ABN AMRO Securities (India) Pvt. Ltd. |
3 | Tata Finance Securities Ltd. |
4. | Ceat Financial Services Ltd. |
These entities were granted 'in-principle' approval on October 30,1998. With the grant of approval to four more primary dealers, the number of primary dealers in the Government securities market has gone up to ten.
