Investment by NRIs / OCBs / PIOs in shares of Indian companies

The Reserve Bank of India on April 3, 2001 has notified that Mac Charles India Ltd. has reached the limit of 8% of its paid-up equity capital. No further purchases of shares of Mac Charles India Ltd., should, therefore, be made in the secondary market on behalf of non-resident Indians (NRIs) / overseas corporate bodies (OCBs) and persons of Indian Origin (PIOs).
