No.F.1(35)FD(Gr.2)/87 Jaipur, dated 2.7.1992 Subject :- Grant of Ex-gratia payment to alive widows of deceased Contributory Provident Fund beneficiaries.
The undersigned is directed to say that the provisions of Finance Department Memorandum of even number dated 2.7.1991 are applicable only to the alive widows of Contributory Provident Fund retirees. The cases of alive widows of Contributory Provident Fund beneficiaries who died while service and who are not entitled family pension in terms of the Department Memorandum No.F.1(35) F. 5 Gr.2/87 dated 17.10.1987 were not covered under the provisions of aforesaid order.
Representations have been received from the alive widows of Contributory Provident Fund beneficiaries who died while in service for grant of Ex-gratia payment as allowed to the widows of Contributory Provident Fund retirees from time to time. Accordingly the matter has been considered sympathetically and the Governor has been pleased to order that the provisions of Finance Department Memorandum of even number dated 2.7.1991 may be extended subject to the terms & conditions laid down therein with effect form 1.11.89 to the alive widows of Contributory Provident Fund beneficiaries who died while in Government service and who are not entitled to family pension in terms of this Department Memorandum No.F.1(35)FD(Gr.2)/87 dated 17.10.1987.
