The Reserve Bank of India has advised that overall ceiling of 24 per cent of paid up equity capital permitted to be held by all registered Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) has been reached in M/s. The Reserve Bank of India has notified on January 21, 1999 that the aggregate net purchases of equity shares of M/s. Satyam Computers Limited by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in the primary/secondary markets has reached the limit of 28 per cent of its paid up capital.
