One applicant, viz., Value Industries Limited, Aurangabad has withdrawn its application and another applicant, viz., K. C. જૂન 28, 2013Receipt of applications for new bank licence in the private sector closes on July 1, 2013The RBI issued a Press Release on June 24, 2013 stating that all offices of Reserve Bank of India situated in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai will remain closed for public transactions on July 1, 2013 to facilitate Annual Closing of RBI’s Accounts. It is clarified that the Reserve Bank of India would receive applications for new bank licence on July 1, 2013. મે 31, 2013RBI to post on its website clarifications on New Banks Licensing GuidelinesThe Reserve Bank of India had issued Guidelines for Licensing of New Banks in the Private Sector on February 22, 2013. Following issue of the guidelines, RBI received several queries regarding the guidelines. To comprehensively reply to all queries, RBI issued a press release on March 7, 2013 asking that queries on the guidelines may be sent to the Reserve Bank by April 10, 2013 and that clarifications would be posted on its website. In response to that press release,The Reserve Bank of India had issued Guidelines for Licensing of New Banks in the Private Sector on February 22, 2013.
