Investment by FIIs in Indian companies
The Reserve Bank of India on February 9, 2000 has notified that no further purchases of shares of M/s. Penta Media Graphic Ltd., should be made on behalf of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) under the portfolio investment scheme. The Reserve Bank has stated that M/s. Penta Media Graphic Ltd., has reached the overall ceiling of 30 per cent of its paid up equity capital.
