The Reserve Bank of India has on October 20, 2000 notified that no further purchases of shares of M/s.Hughes Tele.com (India) Ltd. should be made on behalf of foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/NRIs/OCBs/PIOs under the portfolio investment scheme without prior permission of the Reserve Bank.
