The Reserve Bank of India has been at present releasing the daily data on Money Market Operations of the previous day through its website at 10.00 a.m.

Based on the feedback received from some market participants, the Reserve Bank of India will release the data on Money Market Operations at 9.00 a.m. instead of 10.00 a.m. from March 21. The data would be released through the RBI website (www.rbi.org.in)

The data relate to volumes and interest rates on call/notice/term money market, liquidity support availed from the Reserve Bank, Reserve Bank's open market operations (net sales/purchases) and repo. The Reserve Bank has been releasing these data since February 7, 2000 with a view to facilitating flow of information and transactions in the functioning of money market.
