In response to requests received from banks, Primary Dealers and others, who have been successful in the auction of the 7.49 Government Stock 2017 held on April 15, 2002, it has been decided that allottees can make payment either on April 16, 2002 or on April 17, 2002. Allottees will have to pay accrued interest for one day in case they pay on April 17, 2002.

The Reserve Bank of India also extended the time for repo and reverse repo under the Liquidity Adjustment facility (LAF) upto 12.30 p.m. for today.
