Investment by Foreign Institutional Investors

The Reserve Bank of India has on June 28, 2001 notified that no further purchases of equity shares of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. should be made on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) without the prior permission of the Reserve Bank of India. The Reserve Bank of India has stated that Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. has reached the overall ceiling of 28 per cent of its paid up capital.
