The Reserve Bank of India has on April 24, 2001 notified that no further purchases of equity shares of M/s. Satyam Computer Services Ltd. should be made on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in the primary / secondary markets without obtaining prior clearance of the Reserve Bank of India.
