The Reserve Bank of India on September 5, 2000 has notified that non-resident Indians (NRIs) / overseas corporate bodies (OCBs) and persons of Indian origin (PIOs) can now purchase equity shares and convertible debentures of M/s. VisualSoft Technologies Ltd., up to 24 per cent and foreign institutional investors (FIIs) up to 40 per cent of its paid up capital.
