The Reserve Bank of India has notified on March 11, 1999 that the aggregate net purchases of equity shares of Vikas WSP Ltd. by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in the primary/secondary markets has reached the limit of 22 per cent of its paid up capital. No further purchases of equity shares of Vikas WSP Ltd. will, therefore, be allowed on behalf of the FIIs without obtaining prior approval of the Reserve Bank.
