Investment by FIIs in shares of Indian companies
The Reserve Bank of India on January 27, 2000 has notified that no further purchases of shares of Satyam Computers Services Ltd. Should be made on behalf of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) as the holdings by FIIs have reached the overall ceiling of 30 per cent of its paid up capital.
