The Reserve Bank of India on April 26, 1999 has notified that no further purchases of shares of M/s. Himachal Futuristic Communication Ltd., should be made by non-resident Indians (NRIs)/overseas corporate bodies (OCBs)/persons of Indian origin (PIOs) under the portfolio investment scheme. The Reserve Bank has stated that M/s. Himachal Futuristic Communication Ltd., has reached the overall ceiling of ten per cent of its paid up equity capital.
