Monitoring FIIs Investments in Indian Companies
The Reserve Bank of India on May 12, 1999 has notified that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) can now purchase equity shares of M/s. Essel Packaging Ltd., in the secondary market under the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS), as the FIIs investments to the paid up capital of the company have gone down below the 22 per cent level.
