BNP Group (now BNP Paribas) Drops Plans for Primary Dealership
BNP Group (now BNP Paribas) has informed the Reserve Bank of India that in view of a change in its corporate business plans it does not propose to go ahead with its plan to set up Primary Dealership. Consequently, the `in principle' approval given by the Reserve Bank of India earlier stands withdrawn.
