Aug 24, 2001Investment by Foreign Institutional InvestorsThe Reserve Bank of India has on August 24, 2001 notified that no further purchases of equity shares of ICICI Bank Ltd. should be made on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in the primary/secondary markets without obtaining prior clearance of the Reserve Bank of India. Jul 13, 2001Investment by NRIs / OCBs / PIOs in shares of Indian companiesThe Reserve Bank of India on July 13, 2001 has notified that no further purchases of shares of M/s IDL Industries Ltd. should be made on behalf of non-resident Indians (NRIs) / overseas corporate bodies (OCBs) and persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) without obtaining prior clearance of the Reserve Bank.
